After a long wait, Copa América 2024 has finally arrived. This tournament brings together national teams from the CONMEBOL to decide who is the best football team from the south of the continent.
In this edition, the cup will be played in the United States and feature six teams from the CONCACAF, making up 16 teams from all over America. If you want to assist and support your favourite team, tag along with us and look at all the confirmed stadiums for the Copa América.
Opening Match – Mercedes-Benz Stadium
With a total capacity of 71,000 people, the Mercedes-Benz Stadium has hosted many Major League Soccer matches since its creation seven years ago. The stadium also received various football clubs from England as they faced off in last year’s Premier League Summer Series.
Football is not the only thing this stadium has going on, though. Besides being the site of the opening match of the Copa América, the Mercedes-Benz will become the stage for the Rolling Stones on their next tour in June.
Group Stage
The opening match will start the group stage across 13 different stadiums all over the United States, like the SoFi and Arrowhead Stadiums. Since the locations of each game can vary, we recommend you check the CONMEBOL official website. If you’re an avid gambler, you can also click here and use the live-bet feature and stay tuned to the matches at all times.
Quarter Finals
Once we finish the groups, it will be time for the Quarter Finals. This stage will feature Texas, Arizona, and Nevada stadiums, so you better prepare to travel if you want a slice of the excitement.
NRG Stadium
This famous venue in Texas is known for rodeo shows like Houston Livestock, CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, and concerts from favourite performers like Coldplay. The venue’s roof is fully retractable, so no rain will affect the upcoming Copa América games here.
Apart from the cup, the NRG Stadium was also selected as one of the 16 North American venues that will host games for the upcoming World Cup. So be sure to become familiarized with the stadium if you plan to assist in the matches in 2026.
Allegiant Stadium
This massive stadium in the southern part of Las Vegas is known for a wide variety of food and drinks. From wine and BBQ to Sushi and Cocktails, if there is anything you want to eat while enjoying the games, this is the place to go.
State Farm Stadium
State Farm Stadium is known for the Super Bowls and its exciting motorsport events like Monster Jam and Super Cross. But don’t worry; they will have the main stage ready on time for the quarter-finals.
AT&T Stadium
Although commonly known for its truck events and concerts, AT&T has a rich history with football. In March, the stadium will host the group and quarter-final stages of the Copa América and the Concacaf Nations League finals.
Semi-Finals
Unlike the other stages, the semi-finals of the Copa América will be tackled in just two stadiums, located in New Jersey and California.
MetLife Stadium
Known as one of the largest multipurpose stadiums in New Jersey, this venue has hosted some of the world’s most important sports events like the Super Bowl and Wrestlemania.
Eight years ago, this stadium was used for the finals of the Copa América Centenario between Argentina and Chile. Now, those same teams will be off again in the same stadium during the group stages, so don’t miss it.
Bank of America Stadium
The Bank of America Stadium has served many entertainment and sports events in Carolina over the years, like Elton John concerts or the International Champions Cup. During the Copa América this year, the stadium will serve for the semi-finals and the 3rd place match, so make sure to support your favourite teams before the finals.
Finals – Hard Rock Stadium
And speaking of the finals, the Hard Rock Stadium will witness the finals of the Copa América on July 14th. With a total capacity of over 65,000 people, this Miami stadium has stood over decades as the favourite spot to hold huge sports events like Super Bowls, Formula 1 races, and the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
The Hard Rock has all kinds of facilities to accommodate its visitors, like emergency rooms, food points with every sort of dish imaginable, and much more. If you plan to visit during the finals, keep in mind that the Hard Rock doesn’t accept cash anymore, so you will have to use e-wallets, credit, or gift cards to buy anything.
